changed plugs and wires, got a random no-start. found this hose unhooked. it goes through the firewall in a passage with the two lines that T into the highest vac hose on the IN mani. its open ended....

i do it on every one and its a big plus in many ways.

ECT/AMM. about all you have left. the test for the amm is if you unplug it and it will continue to run for a few minutes, its probably shot....

look in the "how to install browntops" thread in the archive. it lists many of them. i think any of the V8's or 2.3turbos in the late 80s early 90s had them. if you spot the CFI's they are better.

you'll want to grab the exhaust manifold along with the turbo. the 90+ manifolds are better;-). and take the lines from the turbo. and you can port the mani/turbo while you have them off.

the 1-2-3 code for ECT could be throwing off your AFR also, faulty ECTs can throw off afr.

the oil return pipe slides into the block, and there is a square Oring type oilseal in between them. that spot is a VERY common failure, and is most likely the culprit.
