960 Moonroof swap- Crank doesn't fit?

Hey folks!

So I nabbed a 960 moonroof today (**** yeah, half off weekends) and the crank doesn't seem to engage when inserted, and is also lacking the bolt holes.

Any ideas on where to go from...

These probably are knockoff rods! I pulled them from the yard because they were so pretty and new looking. My current ones need replaced, so I'm going to try pushing them in to the old shells.

I've got a 2m/70cm antenna on the trunklid of my 87 740. I've got constant ignition noise on the receiving side, but folks on the repeater can't hear it....
