The holes are not there because I had to weld in new patch panels. The trunk emblems are held on with on with 3M and the fender emblems have a small piece of tape behind them for extra security.

I do believe he is referring to the trim around the door glass and the 1/4 window window glass. His door glass trim looks faded black , while the rear 1/4 glass is stainless in color.
