If the e-fan is connected backwards the engine...

If the e-fan is connected backwards the engine will overheat at highway speed if the fan kicks on. The fan would run backwards in this case. This wouldn't be as noticeable at lower speeds.

Volvo battery has reversed terminals (the R in 40R), same as Ford.

I have vented the valve cover to an air/oil separator to Ford PCV valve to the intake manifold. The OE oil separator is vented to the turbo inlet. This puts a vacuum in the crankcase.
