A nice flywheel and clutch and some bushings, and the m47 might be good. I don't mind mine with a 16t.

Welcome. 1992 is a good model year and mileage isn't much of an issue if it was maintained. And yes, you can do nearly anything with a basic hand tool set.

Does 6 and 7 cm refer to the part of the hotside that meets the exhaust? So, if one were grinded out to 3", it wouldn't matter what it started life as?

So, that plug sees radiator coolant and not trans cooler fluid? I don't need it to do anything but stay in it's place. The "plug" is literally a plastic plug. I didn't notice the hole being threaded....

Work backwards. If you have to open up your ezk box and check wiring/solders, so be it. I went in and redid a couple solders on mine after it wasn't running strongly.

In my experience, let her learn with anyone other than yourself. I'm calm, cool and collected but she hated stalling out my cars with me next to her. M46/47 are relatively easy to drive.

My '95 has no boost gauge, cloth seats, only driver power seat, no heated seats, no sunroof, etc.

That heater core is a fun job. Took me 8 or 10 hours my first go around.
