He didn't say open the engine, he said have the manifold flange machined flat to accept a standard T3 flange, then you have a whole world of turbo options, practically all of which are better choices...

When making my 3" downpipe for my HY35, I copied the original 13C downpipe and welded in the Lambda port a few inches downstream after the turbo, I figured if it worked for stock cars it must be fine...

TD04 stud sizes

I managed to sheer a stud on my 850 T5 whilst changing to a 16T (I have a Holset equipped 940 too so don't shoot my FWD daily), does anyone know the size of the studs? The ones the turbo flanges use....
