Trying to swap out my clutch cable in the 142 and I canít see the purpose of these rubber washers at the firewall end. They arenít thick enough to take all of the slack out of that end of the cable....

Aerostar vans had the 3.5” (I think) aluminum shafts. There’s a local place here that will make you whatever you want. They made mine for a t5 to 8.8 and Kyle just used one for a t5 to Dana rear end....

140s (or mine at least) had a little bracket that bolts to the thermostat housing so the fuel line is held behind the fan. But I wouldn’t guess heat soak in the line would cause any real issue.
