There is a roll pin or screws in the lower end of the lever. Remove them and just pull the lever straight up. Be carful. It may take some force to pull it up.

Volvo hoses last forever. Just reinstall yours. Unless some rodents have chewed them. Are you dicribing the pivots? They are pressed together, so now adjustment. Give the cables a little snug.

I forget that I had 2 led Amber led bulbs for another project. Hard wired the terminal contacts ,no sockets. Drilled out the existing bulb socket. Repainted the reflectors. Stacked it all back...

The 780 havc system is different from that the...

The 780 havc system is different from that the defroster ducts are very different. That makes the dash pad unique also. Front seats interchangeable. Not the rear.

SEM trim. Cleaned ALL of the original off. Used red scotch pad. Oil grease remover. Self etching primer. Following flashing time on all steps. Still came off in lots of places.

If you spent any time around the 140 cars with a/c it was almost a daily event. They only had there bolts. If you were smart you would check them at every maintenance.

Try cleaning with some carb/brake cleaner. Give it a good blast with compressed air. Give it some PB plaster. With a sharp pin punch or little screw drive try to turn it out.

Years back when I worked at a Volvo dealer we had a Dyno.. It was not unusual for the manifolds to glow. Even the b27-b28. Most fun was when a rear tire would come apart.
