There should be vehicle in info plate in engine compartment that shows VIN plus paint colour code as well as some info on suspension. Am sure Novimat was a number code.

Unfortunately you may need the Volvo software route. These seats have the air bags and pre-tensioners and headrest crash functions. I am not sure what would have changed between 01 and 02. Likely not...
