Grab the dual Ď67 manifold and a stock downpipe. Any exhaust from 2-2.5Ē will be fine. F heads are usually cheap and you can mill quite a bit off of them to get the compression up around 9.5-10:1.

I’ve never had any issues with my pushrod motors. It’s a pretty neat idea but I think it’s a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.

Aerostar vans had the 3.5” (I think) aluminum shafts. There’s a local place here that will make you whatever you want. They made mine for a t5 to 8.8 and Kyle just used one for a t5 to Dana rear end....

140s (or mine at least) had a little bracket that bolts to the thermostat housing so the fuel line is held behind the fan. But I wouldn’t guess heat soak in the line would cause any real issue.
