Give it a few wipes and you'll eventually see the level.

Can't think of the last time I've used a dipstick for actually checking the level of fluid vs just making sure some is in there, haha.

Yeah, same here. The spring on the plunger was very weak. I could have probably taken it apart and figured out how to repair it.

Didn't toss it. Just put it in the "random semi good parts" stash

Customer is super happy with his lightly hopped up 760 now. Proceeded to call and say how great it feels, and that he already got a speeding ticket in it. This was like 2 hours after taking delivery....

Ahh ****, another compressor bypass thread

Everyone loves these, don't they?

Anyway, 1989 760 Turbo. It's been down on some power and I suspected I had some metered air leaking somewhere. Found the issue at the compressor bypass valve....

I'm assuming you need the disk shaped bellows...

I'm assuming you need the disk shaped bellows that actuate the flaps. I'm also going to assume you don't have the unit with auto temp control

Looks like you need (3) three of 9463042 and (1) one...

Cool. the spots where the motor mounts bolt up are the same? It shows two different part numbers for the PRV one and 4 cylinder one. Just wanted to try this route before I order one from Volvo.

Differences in engine cross members between redblock and PRV cars?

Like the title states, could they be interchanged? Got a 240 that ran over a tire in the freeway and wasted the rack and front crossmember. I have a 265 PRV parts car. Would that one work?

I'm going to buy a new O2 sensor to see...

First: My brother's car, a 1993 940 +T with a 16t, OBX exhaust, Bosch 044,and factory turbo intercooler and whatnot.

When we turbocharged the NA engine, we used red injectors from a 1997 850 GLT...
