i believe the shifter cage is different. pretty sure actually. yep
so when you pull the bolts to swap the cage you will most likely need a new gasket or itl leak. then if you have not done this...

Hello all
this head is very flat about half the resurface specs in the bentleys.
there are a couple scratches two on the front cylinder and one on the rear.
can catch the scratch with a finger...

follow the lines from the mani
you may find where they came apart.
do your vents work from defrost to floor ect?

tried a different vac gauge and it looks like there is some kind of valve problem.

Checked pin 14 and get 12.4 volts seems good to me.
Pin 15 I don't know what or how to check.
Have 95 940 greenbook wiring diagrrams but it might as well be in Japanese as electrical is a weak...

1) loop pressure is OK... no residual pressure at all
2) back probe the O2 sensor so it has ref Voltage ..you *should see* a swing between
"2 and 7" with it centred around the 0.5...

well both my 940 turbos have freds chips. one is 954 ecu and one is 984 from 1998 940 europe. i swapped the 954 into this car and it did not help. i dont think its the ecu.

(1) pressure guage teed in at the rail.
fuel pressure 40 psi at idle
when i snap the throttle it goes quickly to 46 when i let it snap back it drops to 36 for a nano second and jumps right...

i put a M-47 in my 95 940 turbo and it was not fun.
the M-47 has 246,000 miles and it shifts smooth and works fine. i run about 9-10 psi boost.
i have 3.31 rear.
anyhoo i wouldnt do this for a go...

i put the 72L in my 85 244 turbo about 6-7 years ago. the aw 72 had 130,000 miles
was running 15 pounds boost and a large booom felt like something big fell out on the highway.

once you pull the tranny you will see a cutout on the bellshousing where the crank sensor is located.
you can make the cutout on your new tranny bellhousing
as its kinda scribed.

pulled a M-47 this morn and grabbed the flywheel. the car was LH 3.1 and i was wondering if this flywheel is the same as LH 2.4

the 85 240 does not have the factory cutout for the side markers. the 86-93 does and the side markers from a v70 will work fine. i may have a set i could sell but i would have to look.
