Flat trunk, the car is a 1984. There is a dip in the sheet metal in the middle of the trunk, this leaves a gap under the spoiler that fills up with leaves etc.

I'm at 17x8 at 0 offset in my 242 and it's fine. I could actually stand a little more poke in the front (2* camber). You will have to roll the fender lips flat so expect that.
