Disconnect the vac hose at the fuel pressure regulator and check for liquid fuel.


Spray around the intake with brake cleaner and see if the idle changes= air leak.

I like to pop the cover off relays and pinch them closed and see if the component activates. That way, you have also confirmed the input and output circuits are OK too.

It's only 4 or 5 wires to make it run. You will have a high idle unless you swap the rear diff.
