For normal road use the VX would be the better...

For normal road use the VX would be the better choice in a non turbo engine. With turbo the A is better for low down. T cam is a good hammer

There are a number of LHD 16 valve 360's but I can only think of 1 RHD car that has been built. I'm failrly certain the fitted a pedal box to sort the clearance...

I have seen a number of NA B230's with 9mm rods have a rod let go and pop out through the block. A couple of these were driven by elderly drivers when treated them like a diesel and had them chugging...

With the 9mm rods once the engine is rotating there is a risk of rod failure. Bringing boost into teh equation just makes that risk much higher.
