How do I remove an M46 overdrive when the trans is already out of a car? So far all I've tried is taking all the nuts off the back of it and whacking it with a hammer which didn't do anything.

You sure it's running good and timed correctly? Even a stock M cam automatic 240 should be able to kiss triple digits on a closed test course with a professional driver. More like 105 for a stick.

I tried the superpro poly trailing arm bushings.. The inside wheel would lift off the ground in hard cornering and they wouldn't come out in one piece so I couldn't resell them to someone else.

My rinky dink pneumatic vacuum pump can get down to about -27psi. I bet your air compressor just cant keep up, try letting your compressor fill up then connect it and keep an eye on the gauge.
