But even with a 5-7 lb spring the boost controller should allow it to hold off more then snap open quickly. Maybe bad MBC. I went through two before I got one that worked.

If it were my car and I was bored and there were no shows and I had desire to do anything, I would prep for paint and body and paint it, wet sand, and polish it for when the shows start back up.
