Deleting Brake Distribution Block.

As I'm wrapping up the install on my ATS brake upgrade on my 244, I noticed the distribution block was damp. Upon attempting to break free one of the brake lines the entire port broke off the block....

I still vote for the VR6 though. Best sounding engine in the world imo.

Had this issue with my 240 before, and it ended up being the nut on top was bottoming out on the threads before actually clamping down on the strut mount.

I'm going to recommend you skip the T5 if you're shooting for 300whp. The B230 is going to make a lot of torque at that power level and the T5, while a popular swap, isn't going to take it for long....

The '89 model year is kind of hit or miss on the 9mm or 13mm rods. The 13mm rods would be iffy at that power level, and the 9mm rods will be making an exit asap. The M47 is going to explode.

A bad cell in a battery can cause a lot of weird issues. I would definitely look into that.

I think 14.6v is a little optimistic from the alternator. 13.8v and higher is considered "normal".
