It's a B23F I rebuilt myself a couple of years back, with a 398 KJet on top of it. Lamba, and fuel dizzy reshimmed to further optimize the cranky KJets. Runs stronger than a LH2.0 car by far too.

Sounds like a bad ECU - I had a couple of 1989's which I bought with this same problem and both had failed "red label" ECU's. Replacement with a later LH2.4 ECU cured the problem on both.
