Plenty is a total stretch of the imagination. I'm in so called Volvo Mecca and I rarely see a 142, let alone one for sale. Of those for sale, 1 in 100 is worth buying.

Totally normal and expected. That's what keeps the chassis vibration minimized. Solid mounts will up the stresses immensely wearing parts out more quickly and possibly cracking mounting points.

That is a G80 locker. And yes, there are clutches in a G-80. They are not a true locker. They are a hybrid. They lock up like a locker, yet, use a clutch pack to do so.

Your friend is almost correct. If the ignition doesn't work, the fuel pumps will not run. The ECU has to receive a signal from the ignition system in order to turn on the fuel pumps.
