Introducing "White Peaches"... 242 with a dash of B230ft and M47

Thought I'd share....picked her up and drove her 500 miles home through desert and mountains. Still have a few kinks to work out, but drives like a dream. Lots of performance work to come but here are some before and after pics and a build list to start.....





1981 Volvo 242 DL

*1995 B230ft with squirter block
*IPD turbo cam

*1989 M47 5 speed with new goodies

Beauty. What part of Wa do you live in? I’m on the East Side in Spokane. Notice the fresh, red oil pan, post more B230 pics.
 
Actually in California...haven't had the chance to clean her up and shoot more pics yet but here's one after the swap:

Got her cleaned up a bit....getting ready to swap wheels/tires, replace the random trim pieces that need refreshing/replacement...and then starting the chore of sourcing my T5 swap bits.

She is actually white not that weird smokers yellow..."California White" to be exact

Remarkable condition, cleans up nicely! Did you park in the living room/bathroom?

Haha, thanks. That's one of our garages I'm finishing to house the brick so thought it would be fun to do a color you might have found in the mid 70's to early 80's.
