Matt's Memorial Journey Gallery

The memorial journal

Hi everyone-

I'm deeply moved by the messages that have accumulated since the last time I've checked these boards. I am Tim Dionne, Matt's younger brother. We're coming up on 10 years since his tragic end. I'd really like to do something for my parents to honor his memory. I was hoping that I could get my hands on this journal. Some of the photos posted here are incredibly moving.

Thanks!

Tim Dionne

We need to measure the amount of facial hair on Turbobricks..

I know there will be a lot of facial hair between two of us at least in Richmond when Mike comes down the 20th . ;) . Looking forward to adding to the Journal .

You may choose to view small, med, large, or original (huuuge). The size you right click and download is what you are viewing. Full-size will be up for at least a month.
These are photos taken under a plate of glass at Kenny's in Alabama.

I added some photos where relevant, like where Towery signed under Matt's quote about him.

The 10 year journey continues....

Thanks, Mike, for posting the pages of the journal both old & new.

Yes thank you for the Photos Mike and the time you took to make all these trips. The Volvo Community is a special one . I have a lot of hobbies and am a part of a lot of communities but the Volvo community has the biggest hearts , and the most enthusiasm and even though most of us have the most shallow of pockets this community seems to give the most when needed .

Way to bring a tears to my eyes. I miss that guy so much.

edit: any idea when it will get to his family?

Will be nice to bring closure to this after all these years. I hope the family gets warm and fuzzies from knowing what went into this
Thanks to all

I need to thank all of the people who gave us a place to stay, and also for the company, the tourist tips, and the food.
It was an amazing trip, and it could not have happened if we had be forced to pay for hotel rooms. As it was we only got a room one night, Christmas eve in New Orleans.
Thank you again.

I'm glad to see the box still holding up. One of the best things I ever 'borrowed' from work.

Also, while rummaging in my junk drawer a few days ago, I found the glue stick 3-pack package with the other 2 sticks still untouched.
