i saw a "mechanic's special" deal, he said the car needs timing belt, it slips off one time
and he try to put it back on, and engine starts to jump and then die off, and the belt slips off again
does wrong ignition timing makes engine jump like that?
i am wondering if he didn't do it right, or there's other problem with the car(blown head gasket also makes engine jump?)
what makes belt slips off?
also, to take the timing belt cover off a 1979 240, there's 2 bolts on top, and 1 near the bottom, and what else?
