I've recently installed the Simons sport exhaust on my 122 wagon, and am perplexed as to where the exhaust bracket is supposed to mount to. The bracket in question looks like this:

Nothing along the oilpan or bellhousing appears to fit :???:

Any help would be appreciated!

It goes between the trans mount bracket and transmission. There should be a clamp that holds the down pipe to that bracket.

Oh interesting. The previous owner swapped to a B20F with an M41, and I suspect the trans support might have been changed as part fo the swap.

The Simons clamp looks like this:

Does the ear on the bracket face forward or backwards? I can't find a diagram or picture of it installed anywhere.

The ear faces down and forward with the long part of the bracket toward the passenger side.

The clamp circled is the correct one for an Amazon. I posted a pic of the 140 clamp by mistake. A stock one looks like this.

The Simons pipe is larger so they use a different clamp.
