89 Volvo LM7 engine swap Drift Project

Went up to the drags again saturday night, best time of that night is 10.1, not the best time I've gotten in the car though. The added boost just makes the car spin unless you pedal it.

Some pics from yesterday. camera is not so good.

yeah no kidding, the improvment with the one joint and a now centered diff is astonishing, makes me not feel too doubtfull about choosing a volvo. Really magifies the front now, but the goodies are in the mail :-D:-D:-D

No more bouncy bouncy

Saab sensatrac inserts
7 inch sleeve
10x400lb springs
housings cut down 2.25 inches

here we go finally, been waiting to be able to make these for a long time :)

Need some camber plates now.

The saab ones are like 3 inches shorter than stock. Sensatrac is just the brand i believe, nothing to do with adjustability, and they are VERY inexpensive.

The Saab inserts are 2'1/4 inches shorter. Sensatracs are very similiar in valving to KYB gr2's, only reason I got them instead of Konis or bilsteins is they where in my not very big budget.

There was another drift event today. Car took on a new battle scar from a little wall tap, but she took it like a champ. Had a friend who is very good at many auto sports including drifting (Truly amazing driver) try my car at the drift event today, he did very good and liked the way my car was working. He showed me just what my car is capable of. He also taught me alot of technique aswell which is really helping.

Pics and video soon.
