Did late model 1800E/ES with 5x108 come with vented rotors, or were all of them solid?

1800 Front vented rotors?

They were all solid.
The 164 had vented rotors (and wider calipers to suit), but I'm not sure if that stuff swaps onto an 1800E/ES or not. They shared certain mechanical parts with the 140 (part of the E/ES upgrades), but they also still retained some aspects of the 122's they were closely related to.

And with a proprietary rotor hat depth that isn't re-popped.
The 164 front vented calipers were ATE not Girling like most all 140s as well...

My 1980 DL came stock with solid rotors but a trip to the boneyard fixed that.

If you have to have vented rotors on an 1800E you could get Mr.Borrie's Amazon Wilwood caliper adapters and a pair of caliper brackets from an earlier 3 piston caliper 122 or 1800S. Then get a pair of undrilled hats and have them drilled to 5x108.

the inner bearing has a slightly larger i.d. on the 164 hub.
