The Buchka 242 Fake Racecar

They that lathe looks like some seriously stiff business. The bed spacing on that thing is awesome.

There was actually a scene in Ghostbusters about this lathe.

Alright, there's just too much positivity in this thread....

Your shop sucks.
Your floor sucks.
Your chassis table sucks.
Your lift sucks.
Your lights suck.
Your machining sucks.
And, your car........, you're doing it wrong.

There. Now it feels more like TB in here. :-P

Thanks guys!

BassGuy, that silver one is the only other one I know of. Apart from Leif Tufvesson's Volvo-sponsored hot rod, that 240 is actually the only car I know of with a B8444s swap.

Cool. Do you have any related links?

This one I found on Garaget some time ago -- I'm not a fan of the wheels/lift, but the swap is clean: http://www.garaget.org/?car=220414

The other P2 XC70 swap I know of belongs to a customer of ours -- don't think he has a build thread anywhere.

is that the V8 Rob got from me a couple years ago or is that a different one?

nice shop by the way, you did a good job on that.

Thanks Matt. This is a different engine. Still needs the balance shaft repair. I think Rob has his sitting around somewhere.

Holy jesus. That lift is hideous. Looks like a clean swap though.
