S/V/C What type of antenna connector is this?

Long story short...I have to replace my antenna - not just the mast, the whole thing.
So I found one at the pnp but the antenna lead end was cut off. The replacement antenna works (goes up and down) but the end is missing.

The photo below is what the end connector should look like. This connector fits the factory wiring on the S40. It's not a typical motorola connector.

I don't think I'll have a problem replacing the connector, it's just that I don't know what type to search for.

Anyone know what this type of connector is called?

Someone does. Not I.

Never seen one like that in a car, but I daresay I haven't seen the insides of many cars made beyond 1992. It reminds me of a push-on (quick connect) F connector, like what your TV uses for coaxial cable, but I can't get a handle on size reference in the picture.

It's very similar to a quick connect style fastener.

Dimensions? 1-3/8" long; Outer sheath 1/2"; Inner silver part 1/4"
The antenna wire itself appears to be typical coax cable.

Learning stuff as I look through image search results...

The F-Type and SMA connectors have their labels mixed up.

I was searching earlier too, but just couldn't find it.
Lots of adapters to go into a radio, but not what I'm looking for.
Definitely not a threaded connection. Kind of close to the IEC above, but that's not it either.

That picture I thieved is wrong anyway. Didn't realize it until I saw it in the thread.

On ebay I see what looks like yours referred to as an ISO connector. Mostly they sell adapters from that to Motorola. Searching "car radio antenna connector."

The connector in the photo is the lead (male) end at the antenna.
The antenna has a 9" +/- whip connected to it. The photo is the end of the whip which is in the trunk.

The one in the photo is the good end on the bad antenna.

I hope that makes sense.
Thanks

Didn't have luck trying to find a new end coupling so I soldered the old coupling to the replacement antenna wire. What a small gauge wire that is.

Regardless, it's back installed and working again.
Thanks for the comments and inspiration.
