Volvo's in Snow

Just realized you worked at Advanced Auto Parts in Vernon huh? I was eyeing your car the other day when I went there.
Yessir that would be me. That car is terrible haha it is just my winter beater, I need to get off my ass and finish my other 244. What were you driving?

I was driving a '76 245, i've got a 244 Turbo as well but that's in the garage for now. I asked someone at the counter about your car but I think you were in the back or something, weirdly enough I have never seen your car around these parts until that day.

Just waiting for the last storm to blow through, and for the temps to warm back up so I can do the turbo swap necessary to get the 245Ti back on the road.

Ryan, IIRC, Brian lives in north Kirkland... So, on the southern edge of the Puget Sound Convergence Zone that also seems to go right through Duvall...

Edmonds got a few inches in the last couple hours, mostly on top of solid sheets of ice. Makes for tons of fun, reminds me of living back east. I spent a few hours driving around tonight/this morning. Stopped by the Top Foods parking lot on 220th in Lynnwood. Someone had set up a course of sorts with shopping carts. Got pretty good at sliding this thing and connecting corners. :D

Pictured next to my good friend's Opel Manta Rallye.

The tires that make it happen. Studded all around, I can go up the steepest hills in downtown Edmonds no problem.

Almost made it to my house... Good thing I drove in through the cemetery...

15 inches of snow here, but only got a couple in portland up on the hill at the GF's near council crest.
I would have stayed there, but I got my kid and she needs to go back to school tomorrow. Horge is out with the tracktor and the bucket clearing snow. I'm hoping the snow melts enough so I can just drive my car instead of having to put chains on it or dig it out...
