One years ago, I bought orginal 740 facelift to daily use.
Here is photo when I bought it. Orginal 16v GLT and aw72 transmission.
Firts summer I drove with stock engine, but I got it 17" OZ Cygnus wheels with 185/35R17 tyres.
And bags to car...
When summer was over, car get go to garage and engine update start.
Orginal b234f to out.
I use b230fb block.
Clean and new paint....
Pistons from b230ft. I made valve hollows. I made special tool from old 16v intake valve...
Timing belt is 147 tooth from opel.
Oil pressure line to turbo.
Its go to back with aw72, but later I did manual swap.
Intake manifold painted. Throttlebody come from 850 t5, because I need linerial TPS sensor to megasquirt.
Surge tank from china and bosch 044 type "replica" pump.
Megasquirt wires done.
