Projekt "We dont roll"

Looks like a mess but I have starter signal and signal to the fuel pump and coil, going to try for spark tomorrow and also for injector pulse, if I have that I'm golden and this project will be nearing the home stretch.
Took another couple hours on the wiring, figuring the pin outs to the fuel and spark computers to get the fuel pump and radio suppression relay to work, ground issue.

You've got to take this... Volnova?... to car shows and so forth once it's streetable. :) I love the idea, and it's coming together well already. It'll definitely confuse some people.

Completely going the opposite way of most musclecar builds. Keep it up. You should get custom badges made that say 140 ci

2316cc = 141.33 cubic inches. ;-) However, the Vega's troublesome OHC four was a 140-cube engine - still a 2.3, but 2287cc according to Wikipedia - nearly identical to my old Saab's 2290cc B234i, incidentally. Wouldn't want to confuse it with either of those. :-P

Slightly less, I believe the v8 was rated at 230hp and 260tq, I ran 205/235 to the wheels when it was in the 740

So equal then. 205 at the wheels is about 230-240 at the crank. You'll have more now!

Sweet build. I want to put a 16v redblock in the E36.

Computer upon trigger turns fuel pump and coil on, pretty strong feeling that the wiring is done right, going to try and finish up the valve cover and get the parts out to powder coat then its final assembly for the most part, hoping it will fire up and run well.

After looking at the break pedal i will take a guess that this car really only has 39000 miles on it, i would think if it reset that the pedal would be worn through.

And now for more wiring, my favorite. Led 6 gauge panel with high neam and turn indicators

I skimmed through pretty quick. looks like a 2.4 set up. have you thought about the speed signal for lh.

I have thought about the signal but not really sure how to adapt it to the chevy rear end, sounds like it will work without it but will not cut fuel under decel. From what i read the signal tells the speedo and then that signal is converted to talk to the computer.
Any insight would be great

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure the speed signal helps with idle control too. I don't have a speed signal, and often times my idle is at about 1500 when I shift into park after a drive.

Finally got some time on the nova, house has been killing my progress.

Drove the Nova up to Price Auto Body last thursday, about a half mile away, car ran good. Sheetmetal is being bolted up, need to mount the engine oil cooler and finish up a few other things. Hoping to have it on the road soon.

No shocks, i think 74 had those, these are 2mph bumpers

Hood latch wont work with the intercooler and i never had the latch mechanism, using the coke key style pins. Not to worry, the zip ties will be gone in favor of some 3m epoxy for just such a setup. Details take a bit of time
