HOtt 9xx/S90 car pics

These are 700s....makes me want to spend a grotesque amount of money on mine to get the same.

I know they're 700's, but they have got the 960 front end, so for me that counts. :) haha

What front bumper is that? Or particularly, what lip is on the bottom of it?

i'm gonna guess custom, but it looks to be based off an 850r front bumper. the rest of the bumper cover is 960/s90 stuff, which has provisions for a clip-on lower valence. my guess is he used the clips and modified the 850r spoiler to work with them.

No it's not, it's a 1985 744.

it has a 940 rear seat, glass, etc etc. i understand if you are doing the wide fenders with 2 door mod, it isnt much work to swap the entire rear end sheetmetal, but then again, it kind of is. it even has the 940 c pillar. that would be a metric **** ton of work to do.

Now that I've seen this front-rear bumper combo on a couple of cars here, I'm beginning to suspect that somebody just makes these. Is there a company that produces what appears to be a 960 upper/ V70R lower bumper combo?

Eamon

Yes, and I can't remember which Swedish firm sells it, but I've pasted the links. In order to fit the 95+ 960/S90/V70R front end properly, you'll either need to have 960/S90 front fenders installed, or a conversion kit, which is sold by the vendor. Either option would obviously require a good deal of bodywork, so if you're not skilled in that area = $$$$$$. Anyway:

Hallsjo is not responsive to American emails. To order body parts from any of these vendors is an extremely expensive proposition, and in most cases the parts, most which are made of fiberglass, would have to be broken down into smaller pieces which would make shipping feasible from Sweden. As silly as this sounds, it might actually be cheaper to buy an entire customized vehicle over there and have the thing shipped to the states, or pray that some day a vendor on our shores like IPD could buy up some of these great products and offer them en masse..
