nice! so why exactly are you replacing the skid plate? is yours bent up like most are?
Exactly..And because the new one is much cooler!:p The old one also have giant holes to reach the engine mounts, I dont need that anymoore..But need to make some holes to reach the stearing bolts tough:)

Edit: I also want to put an aluminium plate under the engine so tought it would be a good idea to make a little bit thicker plate so it will be strong!

where the intake cracked did you drill out the end? also crater fill the end of the weld thats really important on aluminum, i think i see a small crater maybe im just seeing things but it will prevent further cracking.

I didnt drill out the end, but grinden 10mm longer then the crack..Should be the same deal??

Crater filling was a good tip:)I wasnt aware that it is so imporant on aluminium..Never tought about it before since my weldings always goes all the way around..Thanks for the tips!!:)

I'm not quite sure since Im only welding it..Its my friend that makes the parts..But Im guessing around 800 dollars for the parts

I would like to see the finished product there.

Are these a lower chassis brace? If so, do you have some dimensions of it? I'd like to fabricate one as well because stiffer than GT lower chassis brace.

looks good. I like the billet flange too. don't forget to flatten the throttle body flange.
