So I'm completely rebuilding the suspension on my 244. I have IPD springs and struts. So I started yesterday removing all the undercoating from the strut housing and the steering knuckle. I'm planning on painting them. Has anybody else done this? Planning on using black caliper paint.

I have one side painted and put back together, spent about 3hrs removing undercoating. I just went matte black. Looks pretty good to me. I haven't figured out to upload pictures or I'd share some.

My struts, backing plates, and upper perches are at the powder coater right now.

About the backing plates.. I was thinking about doing the big brake upgrade from the S60R. What backing plate (if any) are people using? Will factory 240 still work?
