1990 760 turbo
Recently installed a Circuit 7 boost controller:
turned it up to about 10-12 psi and it felt a wee bit faster or "peppy", as many of the old lady volvo owners would say. anyway. many weeks later it starts sputtering once I start making boost, so I decided to take the controller off and just reconnect it like normal and now it doesnt sputter. So, where did I go wrong? I triple checked the hoses, clamps and I feel confident I had it set up correctly. Maybe was it leaning out? Im thinking I just expect to much from an antique but also I feel that upping the psi to 10 should be ok, so perhaps the fact that it cant handle it is a sign of something else going on...
