Yardie Gold A 940 Turbo

ok so this is what's happening tomorrow. 1/11/14

Fittipaldi wheels come off to get shipped.
- Headgasket gets done.
- RSI stage 2 cam goes in. Hopefully the K24 from the S60R goes in too or it'll be pointless.
- MBC?
- Welding in brackets for the sparco seat and the cobra seat
- Cutting springs for now.
- IRS swap by the following week, this one may or may not happen next weekend.
- bypassing the heater core.

If all goes well i'll be picking up a 740 16v m46.

Since you are in the states, why don't you just get a 940SE instead of putting IRS on a regular 940?

Well i used to have an se but it was haggard. didnt have funds or the know how to bring it back from the dead.

there are maybe 4 sedan se's i know of for sale via searching CL/searchtempest/bing

1 was green and mint. no engine
3 were white. not a fan of white.

3 cars were in oregon

one was in GA they're asking for 3k for that one and it's white. no thanks.

@ blacknite3 thanks man I love the grille because no one really has done it that i've seen outside of europe where they came standard.

the goal for my project is subtle asthetics

Redid the top end of the car. Put in new head gasket, plugs, spark plugs, rebuilt turbo because the one i wanted to get on there we didnt have the oil feed fitting for so that may done this coming weekend. took her on a test drive and she ran moderately ok. but the intake manifold cracked on the car on runner 4. fixed that last night and shes now running tip top.

did you also buy the (cardan) driveshafts to go with those m90's?
we did a M90 swap on my brothers' 780-T16V. It is an IRS car and we used the stock rear section of the driveshaft and a 940lpt front section. The splines fit together perfectly.
We used stock flywheel, 940TD pressure plate, 850R friction plate.
As for the pivot bolt for the throw-out arm, it might need some spacing (like 5mm if i remember correctly)

initial startup of the car. with open downpipe this was before the car was completely sorted.
it was right after we finished putting the turbo on the car.
