Project 800hp Volvette!

Yes "Wise Guy Customs" is a small biz that is just getting started. He's actually my friend and does great work. So what if it's in his garage at his house? It's free and he has been doing paint work his whole life. He is trying to leave his 9-5 job (at the local body shop) and start his own biz... and hey, did I mention it's FREE?!
While a commercial spray booth is nice, I've seen some of the best paint jobs done at home too. It's the skill of the painter & materials used, that makes or breaks the paint job.

Back in my Chevelle days, THE BEST paint jobs were done by Pug Holland, in Greensboro NC, and his waiting list STAYED at two years all the time. No joke, he painted Jays 66 mailbu, and a fly landed on the 1/4 panel, and slid down it, flew off, relighted on 1/4 three more different times & slid down all 4 times.

Pug painted in his garage at home. Slick, never ANY dirt in paint, & shiny like a mirror. You could actaully pick your teeth looking in the paint job.WORD.

damn, i was really was hoping dug had updated this :-(
last i heard the motor was still torn apart and he was looking for a place to clean up the block and assemble for a reasonable price.

More often than not, the words/phrases twin turbo, 800HP and reasonable price don't go together very well. I've seen the car in person. Looked like lots of fun.

And here's another bump hoping the OP will update us...

Some killer new stuff for the Volvette Build!

Some killer new stuff for the Volvette. (yea I know it's been a while)
New stage two 5 angle CNC'd precision heads, high rev race lifters, high flow oil pump, custom hardened main caps from the Crowler race shop and a custom turbo ground cam by Lunati.

P.S. It's getting a freshly BUILT 6-spd along with a steel quicktime bellhousing. Hopefully I will have the motor back from the Machine shop soon.

Cheers

I see a black Anti-Team Mazdaspeed Protege all the time near Philly. Makes me wonder about this build as well.
