Sander's 745 16V + Turbo project

Well, a pictureless update since last time (I've been busy with school etc for a while). I was having difficulty getting the engine running, no matter what settings I tried. With the help of Dap_p we narrowed it down to the COPs. It would spark etc but it just wouldn't start properly. It would just crank without signs of life and occasionally start to run out of the blue. Unable to solve the problems with the COPs I switched to the coil pack from a Ford Escort (together with the stock Ford 20uF capacitor). I use MS to control the coil directly. Got it at a local junkyard for next to nothing, installed it, turned the key and it started within half a second and continue to idle great at the RPM it is supposed to :). I've also finished the exhaust from front to back together with some other minor things that needed to be done before it can drive safely again. I hope to be tuning ms this weekend :).

Installed an air filter. The plastic tube thing that goes from the air filter to the turbo is the pipe that normally goes from the throttle body to the filterbox on a stock B234F. It fits really nice so thats one original part that stays on the car :-P:

Tomorrow I hope to be driving it for the first time since it's been modified :)

It runs suprisingly well on the VE and ignition table I got from 500dollar Matt. Off boost everything is pretty much right :)
 
jyha i like the sound. can I come watching the car I'm also livin in holland. one thing I want to know is how you made the the spagetti exhaust.
