Which rear axle ratio would a 16 valve 740 with M46 have?

...I know the AW72 equipped B234 cars got a 4.10 rear, but I'm wondering whether this was also the case for the very rare manual 16v cars?

I've been contemplating installing a 3.73 rear in my 240 with M47 and swapped 16v head. The stock 3.31 ratio feels too tall in most situations except highway driving. I'm curious what Volvo did from the factory on a similarly equipped 700/900.
 
I have a stock euro 1989 745 16v m46 with a 3.73 rear axle.

Pretty sure my stateside 1990 744 16v m46 also had a 3.73.
