This is the absolute truth here. You can get away with "cheap" ways of applying paint if you're willing to wetsand and buff but you're just making 100000x more work for yourself.

I like it! think you may have just started a new trend that's gonna stick. My 940 is white and I wouldn't mind making the hood a matte black...or even a orange or matte brown or flat gray even... with a moose decal on it somewhere...hmm.....I like the way you're thinkin' right now kevbot. YOU have started something. #threadsubscribed.
