I did a 2 pc. The tunnel on mine is setup to be removable. Still need to do a few welds on it, but I'm able to get the driveshaft in and out with it removed.

So my competition engineering brackets were too tall, so those are 1/4" stock, drilled on my drill press using a little jig I made. Then I bolted them together and a mix of death wheel and bench grinder till the fit perfect. I'm not sure if I want to take some U channel and gusset across the back or leave it. But they're all straight, square and sturdier than the factory tabs. Next up is to plate the frame holes and decide on shock and locating device location.

Thanks. I'm hoping that the heim joints aren't too noisy, but since I'm using the factory chassis bracket, I can order some bushing rod ends if needed. Last night I started cutting and tacking together the arms, and tonight I'll get the shock mounts modified to fit the axle tubes. Then I can get the shock mount decision made, and work out how things are going to work with the watts link.

Talked to my boss today about making my watts link pivot on the spare 5 axis and looks like it will be running nearly non stop for the next 6 months

so I get to make a crude version and I will upgrade it later.

Thanks! I've slacked off on the updates. I can't believe its been 7 months since I updated this. Got a few things done, MS2 upgrade, suspension is done-ish, and I'm back to a wandering steering wheel. Those deep offset wheels really beat up tie rod ends, but I'm pretty sure its the relay rod now. I'll be working on it more when I finish up some other projects, so I'll have a big update soon.

well since the last real update, the car has been run. I burnt up that clutchnet clutch, started slipping in 4th, then 3rd, then in any gear. So I swapped it to a yoshi/clutchmasters fx400... and its better, but still seems like its slipping.

Shortly after that I trashed the 1-2 slider hub and gear of my t5... Not sure how you do that other than power. Rolling launch at 10 mph in 1st just trying to light off the tires and after a few gears, I came to a stop and couldnt get it back in first.

I think I'm getting better at this whole TIG thing. The thing that isnt so great, my machine is lift arc, and my strike is a little awkward.

Once I get this stuff all working and some shake downs done I'll be heading to the dyno. Hopefully before IPD. But after going through my fuel calculations, and comparing that with 1/8th mile times and trap speed, I'm going to guess that its in the neighborhood of 300. 1/8th mile trap speeds were around 75mph and et was low 8s with baby launches and pretty garbage 60' times on an unprepped track.

Yeah, I may need to go bigger and or 2 stage injection if I decide to run e85. My 835cc injectors are at 70+% duty at 22psi keeping a 11.2-11.7 afr. I will also be looking into going with a different turbo depending on the dyno outcome, and most likely a different trans. I was talking with some friends a while back about all the parts that I've broken with this setup, and its making me think I underestimated my power goals a lot. Granted, most of these guys are in the dsm world, or Honda world, but making 400-450 whp off 14-18psi with similar injector size/duty cycle/afr. I dont want to get my hopes up, so I'm still feeling happy if I see 250 whp, but even a few tuners have told me that they wouldnt be surprised if I squeezed out a 350 just based off of a few on ramp pulls and looking over my maps and logs.

But I need to get the exhaust done, plumbing and electrical back together, and possibly wire up this water/meth kit. We'll see what I can get done before the end of April. Shooting for this thing to be driving May 1st.
