Gear lube test

I was changing the lube in the differential and I got to searching online of what it purchase. I ran acros this and thought it was very interesting info.

Definitely an interesting read. I normally run Redline with M1 being second based on availability, based on years of experience with it, but seeing some of those test results, I will probably look into Amsoil next time I need gear oil. I may see if I can find a similar comparison for Dex3, see how that does for the T5 in the 140...

Ran Mobil 1 in my V8 wagon and the race car, both had text book fatigue failures , went back to normal gear oil. Haven't had a problem since.
