its got some dirt on it but scraping of it off it looks fine underneath. I'll just see how things look when its taken apart. and a free engine is a free engine.

took the cam cover off this weekend and took the intake and exhaust manis off today. I got a reasearch paper due and a few finals coming up but school is out so hopefully progress will be picking up!

theres a lot of bolts holding the cam cover on.

looking inside the valves dont look bent so i guess thats a good sign!

definitly. I wouldnt put any engine in without it thouroghly checked and worked over by a machine shop.

Good to hear man. Get yourself a couple cans of Plasti-kote "Cast Aluminum" once its clean.

Im building with the advice and input and some help of mike and many others. Im moving this month too and getting my own place which is going to make things interesting.
