Hi,
To make a quite long story as short as possible, I'm installing a 163hp D5 engine in a Nissan D21 4x4 and have had some problem(to say it mildly) to find a gearbox with top gear around 0.7:1.
The M90H2/L2 would be great, but is more than scarce to find.
However, I realized that the autos has similar final gear.
But now to the question: any problems electrical wise to match either a AW30-40 or 43 to a 2003 D5, and would one or the other be easier?
And a second question, I noticed that the back piece of the housing is detachable.
What's behind it?
I'm installing a np242 transfer case to it, and was thinking if it's just a housing for the yoke, I could make a new one with correct bolt pattern.
Sorry for a long post.
