TD04 Hotside swapping?

Hi guys,

Am I right in thinking I can get any larger TD04 (with the same lettering suffix) and swap the hotside on my redblock so it'll bolt straight in?

Would it have to be from a volvo or could it be for example a Subaru unit?
 
What Volvo do you have? What turbo do you have?

I doubt other brands will swap because they are typically specific for that manufacturer and that engine config so changes are the flanges are very different.

It's a 343 but running a B200FT, standard 13C.
 
Do a google image search for a Subaru td04 and then compare it to a Volvo td04. Drastically different inlets to the hotside.
