The Frog v3 - 242 LTT

No build thread. Haven?t done so much with it

Just for fun because i had it laying around i converted the stock B18 to sequential ignition with LS-coils. Vems ECU. Yoshifab adapter and a DSM CAS trigger. Have wideband and other gauges on a tablet

Wow that looks awesome, the interior is perfect! How tall are your front springs?

I dont know, they are shortened stock springs. Way to soft, i can turn without rubbing the fenders when i am alone in the car but with more people in it or if the road is bumpy the tires rubs the fenders when i turn
 
It is actually a lot of space under the exhaust manifolds and i had the dp?s in mind when i made the engine mounts to save some space but the dp?s are 3.5" inch and i will try to run dual 3.5" all the way to the rear bumper. It?s going to be really tight on the drivers side so i will have to move the thing where the brake lines are connected and maybe notch the frame a little. Will add pictures later, the downpipes will be a little special :)

It feels good to write some english, haven?t done much of that since school...15+ years ago :)
 
Had this Amazon last year(same wheels as the 142), before i bought the 142. Made a cheap turbo build with the Stromberg. 14 psi :) Sidepipes on both sides, connected to the downpipe. Civic lowering springs from ebay

First update in a very long time. Haven?t worked on the car due to some health issues and will not be working on it so much in the near future. But i had to do something on it so i made some exhaust:

Hade to cut a little here and there but i got them to fit, and with a lot of room for the stock hood latch. But i think i will have to make some better and lighter brackets than the red ones on the picture...

The front exhausts are on some v-band flanges so they can be easily removed and i will make a twin 3" exhaust that will exit by the rear bumper. So the plug on the picture can be moved if i want front or rear exhaust

Been making some progress on it the last week.
Cut the inner fenders to make room for the air filters and welded them together

Bought a Th400(turned out to be a Th375 :( ) and had to make some room for it. The engine is very far back in so the transmission tunnel had to go

Three header bolts was broken but i got them all out without any problems so i guess i have used up all of my luck for the rest of the year

Made some modifications to the oil pan and the oil pump but its very sunny and hot in Sweden so i am dancing some rain dances and killing all the spiders i can find so i can get someone to stop enjoying the sun and weld for me instead :)

Started with the engine harness for my VEMS today. The ball of yarn is leftovers from the stock harness :)

Finished the engine mounts and put the oil pan on so i could put the engine back in. Should be able to fire it up soon!
