740 front lip opinions?

Ok so i just bought a 1987 740 turbo wagon. if this is a repost i apologies what bumper and front lip do you guys feel looks the best on 740s with quad squares
 
Your best bet is to make something custom. Since you'll never find those splitters, you could put a 90+ bumper on and make a lip for that, or perhaps put an 850R bumper on, and you could buy a lip from a few different places.
On my SE, I had a friend help me out tremendously and we made a lip:

true. did you actually find SE bumper foglights or did you make something work? i gave up on trying to find originals, so i bought some Bosch ones that were close to the same size and had a friend help me fabricate some brackets.
 
This is the only one of these I've ever seen (and I own it :lol:)

It's a full kit, but the rear is partially destroyed and the guy I bought them from hadn't pulled them from the yard in time so someone else nabbed the side skirts. :grrr:

did you do a writeup on how you made that lip? It looks really good. Is it a modded 940 lip?
 
OP just go to the junkyard. you're bound to find a 740 in there somewhere. now go around and look at cars that are fairly boxy. rip the bumpers off them, and hold it up to the 740. yeaa
 
that's actually what i've been doing is looking at cars with similar front ends i did see a 25ft box truck with a nice front lip on it but it was to wide.
