66 122 - The car I shouldnt keep but like too much

I also managed to get the passenger side floor light working - how the hell do you remove this switch? I cant get the silver spin nut off. Everything is now loose

Not sure if you figured this out, but you first spin the knob itself off, then that spin nut you're fighting with has to come off. I've had more than one 122 where that thing was seized on there. I had to break mine apart to replace it.

You might want to look into doing something about that single circuit brake setup, too!
while thats a good idea the amount of twerk :omg:

Sounds like it has a mad cam, brah.
no exhaust past downpipe at the time

Make sense. I will try that. For now it works if you tug and twist ;-) a few times, but I dont feel like doing that everytime

On a limb decided to drive to L.A. for the weekend.. Few things to take care of

Stopped by Lukes house because I could not for some damn reason tune this after replacing the dizzy. Turns out I set it the timing to fire 10 AFTER TDC -:wtf::-P
THANKS FLUKE

here is the unwrapped connection between header and downpipe glowing.
After I took this picture some old farmer pulls up and asks what year is my amazon ... WUT
and if I want a wagon ... hell yes. Got his number and I;ll be getting in touch next week

on the way back from LA my "known good alternator" took a crap. As I was going down grapevine. Drove for another 180 or so miles with headlights on... middle of nowhere I was going to buy two batteries and make it home but got AAA to tow me instead, son had school in morning and everything was closed.

thought maybe my fuse was acting up so I stopped for twerking

Nice work on the floor. Will you coat or spray anything inside those frame extensions ? Getting ready to do just that on my P1800.

I haven’t thought of that.... there’s no rust inside of them, probably just spray black fleet paint
I’ll make sure to draw a penis on the inside too

Any ideas ?

Any updates? I feel like I can relate to this thread well.
see below ;-)

It is my understanding that Jack needed to take some time away to deal with stuff.
A self-imposed ban if you will.

Good to have you back.
You're doing that sedan justice, nice work! I wish I had a dash pad to trade you, it would clean up the interior of that car so much.

Odometer crossed 1K. It was at 0 on March 24th. Car is getting old quickly

Thank you

Dashpad -soon. I try to do things on the cheap first.............
What’s worse is that I had new front seat upholstery and foam (for one seat) and other car parts stolen from my porch... about $850 worth of stuff

Glad to see your back. Rust repairs are looking great, except for that artwork. You're a sick boy!! :-P

Steve
Thank you
but that’s how I sign my checks man :e-shrug:

dome light works with doors

powdercoated glove/speaker shelf. Painted the material SEM and installed a larger speaker - painted it black to hide it. I keep forgetting to get a longer screw for the shelf clip on kick panel

debating if I should install this grill on this car or the 67 wagon- I leaning toward this car. only thing wrong with it is the bottom center section, between front and radiator - need to cut one out from a wrecked one and paint to match the door/fender.

picture before washing it. Powder coat grill insert gloss or semi gloss black ?
