Didn't 83GLT have NOS quarters for sale? I think he's out of the country for a while but I'm sure lurking on here.
For a 4 door 73-78 iirc.

Thanks for your concern, nothing went wrong, worked exactly as intended...
Yep, that sort of thing scares me more than anything else.Yeah - be careful Brad. When mine was wrecked a long time back, the box section that holds the bumper shock was damaged - not fun to replace. 17 years ago, finding replacement 2 door rear quarters was an adventure.
To each their own, but I love the red interior. I agree that all the reds should match, but that is easier said than done on dissimilar materials that will fade differently. Did the cars that originally came with red interior have door pulls and pockets that were black or red? My ultimate 240 would be a black coupe with red interior.
^There's a set on the 242 I mentioned in my response to Brad. So, maybe you and he can make a deal for him to grab them and ship them to ya?

Doesn't show on Row 52 anymore. Ugh.
I'll call tomorrow.

Had just picked this up when I got your email.
The guy I bought it from said the glass shop didn't know how to reinstall that trim.
With all of the 240s that were made and many people wanting to keep their cars as OE as possible one would think a company like VP Autoparts would produce the necessary clips to reintsall the 2PC alloy trim. Maybe we should write to them?

Fixed and don't know why the would since the rubber surround part is NLA as well.
Crushed! I'm bummed.
Don't feel bad. I harvested the door and quarter windows out of that car. It wasn't as nice as the pictures showed..
Just cut off a set of sedan quarters and splice them in.
by the freeway at a rest stop.
