Hello all you there!

I was thinkin of putting up a new thread about my car, since we've found out it's got a lot more attention than expected.
The car is (or was) a basic 1986 Volvo 240 DL, all original equipped, and powered by a b200k. So this was acutally 5-6 years ago, when i finally as a 17 year oldie got my first car in my hands.
Since that, it have had 2 different 8v engines in it, and finally ended up looking like this:

And like many of you already might know, we have made a couple of vids on youtube about the car. They have got a lot of good feedback, so i'm also goin to post them here in this same topic, so you'll allways be updated in time!

That car is awesome. Do you have a detailed list of what has been done to the engine and which turbo it has on it now? Any dyno sheets?
 
My wife and I enjoy these videos. I think the car is super rad, and my wife thinks you're hot. It's a win-win. :grrr:

i had a lot of fun watching your vids together wigh my buddy and whole lotta beer ;)

especially the epic fails you got on the vids made me think about myown project. made it kinda straight.

awesome, watched all the vids, brings a smile to my face everytime. Think this is going to be a good topic. Perhaps a bit more info on the 8v you've installed now....? :roll:
 
haha that gatebil day2 vid is really awesome.. cant wait to get to vallakra... 6 weeks to go :)

btw.. in germany we call this AU ;) put a brick on the trottle and wait for whats happening.. :D


aaaand.. why do you have a black eye? got some trouble with the svenska blondes ? ;)

I could really see the pain in your eyes when you thought the turbo was blown. I've been there so many times, I feel it too.

Glad to see that you got it back together and it worked for the next day at the track.
